DESCRIPTION

The thick wall and big head is a process for metal pipe to process the reducer elbow and the reducer joint. In the intermediate frequency heating boosting process, the tube to be processed is cut into segments according to the required length and sleeved on the mandrel; the inner mandrel head mold is made into a gradually changing circular section body component which matches with the finished product, and it is connected with the mandrel by a detachable structure, and the tube can be formed by moving along the inner mandrel head tire to a certain position. It enlarges the application scope of intermediate frequency heating boost manufacturing technology, simplifies the production process, and increases the variety to meet the construction requirements.

The shrinkage forming technology of thick-walled head is to put the tube blank with the same diameter as the big-end of the big-head into the forming die, and press along the axial direction of the tube blank to make the metal move along the die cavity and shrink. According to the diameter of the reducer, it is divided into one pressing or multiple pressing forming. In addition to the use of steel pipes as raw materials for the production of large and small head, some specifications of the size of the head can also be used for the production of sheet metal stamping process. The drawing die is designed according to the inner surface dimension of the big and small head, and the blanked steel sheet is stamped and drawn by the stamping die.

The reducer (big head) is a kind of pipe fitting used for changing the diameter of pipes. Usually, the forming process is shrinkage pressing, expanding pressing or shrinkage and expanding pressing. For some specifications of different diameter pipes, stamping can also be used.

(1) Shrinkage/enlargement forming: The shrinkage forming process of the different diameter pipe is to put the tube blank with the same diameter as the big end of the different diameter pipe into the forming die, and press along the axial direction of the tube blank to make the metal move along the die cavity and shrink. According to the diameter of the reducer, it is divided into one pressing or multiple pressing forming. The expanding forming is to adopt the tube blank smaller than the big end diameter of the different diameter tube, and to expand the forming along the inner diameter of the tube blank with the internal punching die. The expanding process mainly solves the problem that it is difficult for the tube with large diameter to be formed by shrinkage. Sometimes the expanding and shrinkage methods are combined according to the forming needs of materials and products. In the process of shrinking or expanding deformation and pressing, cold or hot pressing is adopted according to different materials and different sizes.

(2) Stamping forming: In addition to the production of different diameter pipes with steel pipes as raw materials, some specifications of different diameter pipes can also be produced by stamping forming process with steel plates. The shape of the drawing die is designed according to the inside dimension of the different diameter pipe, and the blanked steel plate is stamped and drawn with the stamping die.
