Loose flange

Loose flanges are looper flanges. It is a flange that can do activities.

Looper flange is flanged, steel ring and so on the flange on the pipe end, flange can be on the pipe end activities. Steel rings or flanges are sealing surfaces, and the role of flanges is to compress them. It can be seen that because the steel ring or flanging is blocked, the flanged flange does not contact with the medium. Because the flange is movable, not directly connected with the pipeline, so called looper flange, there is another saying called looser flange.

Loose-sleeve flange is also known as non-blue duct, is a movable flange flange, is the kind of flange with looper, so loose-sleeve flange is also called looper flange. Generally used in pipes, is matched with water supply and drainage fittings (expansion joint is common), in that case, loosening the bolt can rotate both sides of the pipe, and then tighten. The pipe can be disassembled conveniently. In fact, it is equivalent to the combination of two flanges. Loose-sleeve flange uses flanging and steel ring to cover the flange on the end of the pipe. The flange can move on the end of the pipe. Its production form is faster, more convenient and less air leakage rate than the traditional rectangular duct. Its advantages are saving materials, reducing project investment, small air leakage, reducing energy consumption, saving operating costs, quite popular with construction enterprises.

According to the connection mode with pipe, it can be divided into five basic types: flat welding flange, butt welding flange, threaded flange, socket welding flange, loose sleeve flange. There are many types of flange sealing surface, commonly used are convex surface (RF), concave surface (FM), concave-convex surface (MFM), tenon groove surface (TG), full plane (FF), ring connection surface (RJ). Loose flange is actually equivalent to the combination of two flanges. Loose flange uses flanging, steel ring and so on to cover the flange on the end of the pipe, the flange can move on the end of the pipe. Loose sleeve flange is suitable for the connection of steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and stainless acid-resistant steel vessels and corrosion-resistant pipelines.
